Hunter Biden laptop impact on the general election

Although I am very disturbed by what the recent "Twitter Files" revelations have exposed about the cozy (but all too predictable) relationship between intelligence agencies and the media, I think we need to take a step back and judge the fallout with more sober minds. The outrage in right wing media seems to be squarely focused on how this particular incursion into news reporting by the intelligence services actually cost Trump the election. I am not convinced a straight line can be drawn between these two events. Most, if not all, of the outrage is coming from people who wouldn't have voted for Biden anyway and although I understand their concern I have to disagree with their conclusions. Do either of you feel the Hunter laptop story would have moved a voter either way? Are the folks over at FOX etc missing the main point of the Twitter files with a myopic "Hunter laptop" obsession? Will they be totally fine with wielding this particular cudgel when it's in THEIR hands?

Long Covid and Future of Americans Health Post Covid

Hello y'all love the show. Was wondering if you would ever take a deep dive into the emerging issues that many people are facing post Covid infection, for millions of people the symptoms don't seem to stop post acute infection, with many getting increasingly worse. Is an entire section of the public going to be left behind in a vaccine-only health policy?

Nuclear Fusion

Dear Saagar and Krystal I must be up to at least 12 times in writing to you about nuclear energy and since you both seem to have jumped on the fusion bandwagon, I would ask that you do a little more research into the reaction that is just as dirty and dangerous as its counterpart, fission. For the 12th time, would you please find an expert in nuclear physics, specifically in energy production to have on your show? Two articles were published last week from journalist Karl Grossman on fusion’s radioactive and nuclear weapons links at Daily Kos https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2022/12/20/2142897/-Fusion-and-its-Radioactive-and-Nuclear-Weapons-Links and Counter Punch https://www.counterpunch.org/2022/12/16/fusion-really/ Could you please have a counter point to your belief in nuclear energy on your show? If it’s not possible to have Dr. Daniel Jassby, principal research physicist at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab on your show, then perhaps have Karl Grossman as he seems well versed in the risks of nuclear energy. Thank you James

Ali Act potentially coming to MMA.

Even though neither of you are staunch followers of MMA, could you possibly do a segment on the Ali Act being introduced for MMA into congress in 2023? This could be extremely beneficial for the fighters, who are some of the most exploited professional athletes. Last congress the bill had bi-partisan support in the House, but now that Representative Markwayne Mullin (sponsor of the bill) is headed to the Senate and a more "sort of" labor-friendly President is in the White House, it might actually have a slim shot a passing.
