Mega Media to Indie
Hi! My question is for the both of you.. you both started (or were in) mega media. Krystal you were going to be the next Rachel Madow on MSNBC and Saagar, you were mentored by Tucker Carlson. What really drove you two away from mega media and doing it independently? Were you two already told you had to be silent when it came to stories that you wanted to cover? What really was it????? Thank you!!
What was your favorite story covered on the hill?
Whether it be how fascinating or crazy for the content covered or maybe the guest(s) you had on to discuss were really great, surprised you in an unexpected way, etc., or maybe it was something you feel very passionately about and cherished the opportunity to talk about it -- which one stands apart from the others in your mind?
Is honesty most important?
I really love the show because you guys are so honest. Your email talked about fighting corporate power. Which I totally agree with because it makes sense. But I've seen other shows always focus on what they're fighting and it seems to lead to a certain slant on every story that feels loose with the facts to fit the narrative. I would love to hear that your top priority is honesty and then the other things. Love you guys :)
