Do you believe that the internet has had an effect on on how corporate news chooses their coverage and do you consider it harmful for the future of media and and news. I personally think it is crippling them but has created a sort of free market for independant news coverage which i consider to be better.
It doesn't make sense for long form discussions to be the only content you have, BUT, I love long-form podcasts. Typically, these typically have a single interviewer (Joe Rogan, Lex Fridman, Julia Galef, etc) but I bet you both would excel in a format where you ask follow up questions based on what the interviewee said to the other's question. You both agree enough to make conversations pleasant (most of the time :D.. I also love when you disagree). You disagree enough to make the conversations interesting, and hard to predict. Lastly, you give a shit enough to make the conversations engaging. I would love long-form conversations maybe once a week with a guest with a LOT of knowledge about one topic or another. I bet over time, you'd get more mainstream people on, and (cross fingers) maybe you could topple at least part of the walled garden in DC. Best of luck on your show!
