Teachable Content
This isn’t so much a question, rather a comment on your work. I am a special education teacher working with students primarily identified as having an Emotional Behavior Disability. My students have typical IQs (as EBD is not an intellectual disability) and have a heightened understanding of what society and school expect of them. Many of my students are a tad nihilist as a result, and strong cynicism towards politics, the government, and our society as a whole. I frequently show my students your monologues and I feel as though it has helped spark hope as well as an interest in politics and the world around them. Your plain spoken, straight shooting journalism speaks truth to power. My students and I can’t get enough! Getting them to do a simple KWL chart has never been easier. Keep up the great work and I’m very sad I couldn’t be a founding member! Good luck you two! Looking forward to the first episode!
