Promoting Competition Executive Order

The Promoting Competition executive order instructs the FTC to limit the use of non-compete agreements. A lot of companies are still using these to protect “intellectual property.” Do either of you foresee the FTC enforcing this?

Natural immunity from covid-19

I of course love your show and your analysis of most things. I have noticed though during most of your bits about vaccine hesitancy ignores or barely touches on those who already had covid-19, already know the symptoms were mild to non existent and justifiably don't want to add a shot when the science shows they're already protected. I am a labor leader of firefighters. Our members have been on the Frontline from the beginning. Most of my members have had covid and do not want the Gov Inslee mandated vaccine which also ignores natural immunity

Big Press - is this a thing?

I heard a term on the "Dithering Podcast's" Aug. 30 episode where they referred to Big Press, a la Big Pharma and Big Tech. Anyways, I think you two would like it. Could this be a new term? Maybe I've missed it up until now. Big Press and the little press. Not just “the [evil] media” but more broadly the small outlets and the big outlets. Thank you so much, Krystal and Saagar, for what you are doing in this space! You have a lifelong fan in Texas.

Why is Krystal’s earring game so strong?

A couple friends and I are HUGE fans of Krystal’s earrings. Almost every episode after we discuss the talking points, we then drool over Krystal’s earrings. Is there a brand/store that you favor? :)

Climate Disruption

What role does habitat destruction play in the climate crisis? Wetland drainage and deforestation has led to aquifers that are drying up, river deltas and fisheries disappearing, magnified damage from floods, greater exposure to storm surge, pollution running straight into the ecosystem creating massive dead zones throughout the world. The profound buildup of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere is more from diminished capacity to process then it is from novel levels of human emissions. Any further destruction of wetlands or forest areas needs to be qualified as crimes against humanity.
