This is a must see video

If you do not watch this video in it's entirety and do a segment on it, then you are guilty of harming Americans with this vaccine cheerleading you constantly do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs4kAQAzT4w

Afghanistan history

Hello Krystal and Saagar. Love, love, love your guys as human beings and of course your show is the best!!! Do either either of you watch/ listen to The Grayzone? They had one an incredible independent journalist by the name of Pepe Escobar who understands geopolitical issues in the Afghanistan region. You should really watch the segment they had on recently. It’s truly eye opening. I learned so much. Thank you both for everything you do. Video link here: https://youtu.be/QiF3TQZSxhs

Buffalo/India Walton in Trouble?

Hi Krystal and Saagar- I love your show and am so grateful for the work you do. I live in Buffalo, NY and voted for India Walton in the primary. I was really excited that she won and to watch Krystal’s coverage of the victory. Unfortunately, it feels like every block I walk or drive down has more than one sign encouraging Buffalonians to “Write Down Byron Brown.” A recent poll even found that Brown leads Walton by 10 points. Do you think this spells likely doom for progressives, or do you agree with Walton that this poll is similar to those that indicated she would lose the primary? I can’t help but feel like Walton will suffer the same fate as Nina Turner.

NYT’s Suspicious Covid Reporting

Of late the NYT’s covid updates/news have gotten more and more suspicious. First of all, they are burying the covid stats on their front page more and more every day. Today (Sunday 8/22), they’re not even showing the numbers on the home page. Second, the way they are displaying data is misleading. The numbers they are stating, for cases, deaths, tests, and hospitalizations, are the DAILY AVERAGE. To *actually* see the numbers being reported, you have to put your cursor over the graph, and even then it is misleading, because they put the average in bold with the *actual* daily number underneath it in regular font. All of this says to me that, while the pandemic seems to be HORRIBLE in non-elite USA right now (i.e. red states & the south), the NYT is downplaying it. Why? Why are they playing with the numbers like this? Is it to protect the vaccine narrative? To make the pandemic seem less alarming than it is right now?? -Jasmine

1980s Olympic Boycott

Hi Krystal and Saagar, In response to the utter failure in Afghanistan I haven't seen any news outlet revive this older story. In 1980 Americans and others were boycotting the Moscow Olympics to protest the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. This was before I was born but I am well aware of it. How do you think it is possible for people who were adults in 1980 to not remember this? And how has this story not been brought up (or hardly mentioned) for the last 20 years? It has seemed relevant since before the invasion, but do you think it could finally get some traction now? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1980_Summer_Olympics_boycott -War on Terror Veteran
