Damn I hate to be that person but I’m an angry commenter today with a rhetorical question. How can you call Australian lockdown laws “authoritarian” and then have nothing to say about a government literally telling people what medical procedures they can access, based on religion? In Australia we don’t enjoy the same freedom as the US in so many ways (see: gag laws on doctors speaking out about treatment of asylum seekers in detention). This is government interference in the private lives of citizens and it flies against all the values the US is always harping on about and that I thought you in particular believed in Saagar.
Biden Afghan Early Evacuation
I really loved your takes on Afghanistan. I have nothing but Right Wing hatred around me for Joe Biden being the worst person in the world for how things went down, and yes some of it makes sense. BUT I know from his July 8th statement he said that since his inauguration the administration had created hundreds of thousands of Visa's and asked for Americans to come home numerous times as a warning. Does something like this just get passed up and ignored? This doesn't sound like incompetence to do the job, it sounds like people "of their own free will" decided to stay, making any type of evacuation even harder. He also said it in the final address on Tuesday that they called 19 times for people to leave. Sorry if I missed it on the show but does this not mean that their was a better plan in place and people ignored it?

He has a great quality of making really pertinent points and making it entertaining at the same time - very much like Saagar except Marshall sounds so chill :-) I am glad he was picked over Kyle for this show!
