Krystal, when are you going to wake up?
I was just watching the 04/30 episode and it was around the 32 minute mark where the topic about the protesting that Krystal said something that had my blood boiling. Krystal, you referenced a short video clip where an officer was making a striking motion toward what appeared to be a protestor. Your comment was that the police officer was 'beating the crap out the protestor'. I wish that you'd wake up and educate yourself before slandering the officer. Heck, I strongly recommend you attend a citizen police academy to give you some insight into a police officers life and more importantly, training. Having been a police officer for over 20 years, I saw the situation quite differently. Officers are train that they can use focused stikes to overcome resistance. I've done this many of times when individuals were resisting arrest. The video appeared to show the officer striking what I suspect to be an protestors arm holding onto a vehicle, but it wasn't totally clear. If someone is holding onto an object it's perfectly within standard training to strike the forearm to break the person's grip. But to assume the office was 'beating the crap' out of them is absurd. You're inaccurately and intentionally accusing the officer if inappropriate behavior. I believe you should apologize to this officer on the air. If you don't know for certain that the officer violating his department's Standard Operating Procedure or Code of Conduct. You're no better than the other individuals spreading misinformation.
Making the Show Happen! Scheduling and Ways of Working
Hi Krystal & Saagar! I make content myself and I’m pretty consistent. Just curious what your scheduling, day to day is like to produce the show? How has that changed over time? Do you record the night before or super early the morning of? How do each of you work on your segments? Most of your show seems unscripted but also scripted at the same time. Just wondering about what happens behind the scenes between you two. PS- it was great to see the whole crew a few weeks back. Grateful for you guys putting the work in and keeping us informed!
Your not looking at humanity itself
Have either one of you watched the body cam video from Hamas on Oct 7 th? The public ( your viewers) place more value in actual proof of action than personal opinion or emotional based opinion. I love your channel but I feel that that you are not looking at the full picture when it comes to Hamas. I am a independent at heart and am torn like most Americans on the what is going on in Gaza. But I and others are relying more on those that watched the Hamas body cams real time footage than relying on your emotional knee jerk. My life has been devoted to children. But I also remember Hiltlet the 6 million Jews annilation and Vietnam. It not as black and white, right and wrong as you have made your stand. The news is more responsible in how it is perceived in to the average person. Krystal- when your protesters do something heinous that claims innocent lives will you still be proud of them? Saagar it’s not about the economy. I lived thru Vietnam. This is not the same.
