Why do midterms always swing power to the previous minority party?

Like clockwork, every two years it seems the parties swap majority power in the house, why? Has this cycle broken in recent American history? If so, what were the causalities? Looking forward, what could democrats do to hold power through the midterms? Thanks.

Can President Biden fire the generals who mislead him on the readiness of the Afghan security forces? If so, why do you think he hasn't fired anybody over this?

Lifetime Member Ghosted!

I am a lifetime member and bought tickets to live show in Chicago. I have emailed James 3 times with no response. I only asked for reimbursement for 1 ticket. Ironically I fell ill, ended up giving away my tickets for free to a person in the comment section of the Vanguard Show. I will send a 4th email with little hope, not a friendly way to treat the people who backed you from day one!
