Elon’s Enshitification of Twitter
I would love to hear a longer conversation about how the transition of Twitter to X and the changes from Elon’s leadership. How have the changes to the platform, culture, and user-base affected your use of the platform in journalism, reporting, politics, and news coverage now that it has been over a year and seems to have stabilized to a new normal.
Saagar Monologue Request
It is very clear that Biden intentionally passed student debt relief that would be overturned to please the masses, but not actually relieve student debt. It is equally clear he is now attempting to buy votes by passing student debt relief just prior to the election. I am fine if he wants to do that. What I am not fine with is that it washes away GI bill, ROTC scholarships and Service Academy benefits. Those of us that served the military to pay for college entered into an agreement with the country to provide service for the country in exchange for a college education. If students that gave nothing to their country get student debt paid for by the country I think those of us that served to pay for college should be paid for our service. If those that didn't serve receive $XXK in debt relief I think anyone that used a GI bill, ROTC scholarship, or Service Academy benefit should get a check for $XXK. It would be nice if someone would stand up and speak for those of us that served to pay for school!
