Hi yall, as a Christian priest who was driven mildly insane by your Dawkins section (since I can’t deny that some of my fellow religionists would subject you to a rough theocratic ride), I ask you to go there- what do you think of “Judeo-Christian” morality as the metaphysical underpinning of contemporary secularism and the neutral public square? A false characterization? Superficial analysis? An awkward truth? Why?
Excellent discussion today about Dawkins! The one stat that is in favor of Saagar's argument (and against Krystal's) is that we have to take a magnifying glass and look for countries that have a majority Muslim population and secular credentials. Turkey comes to my mind. Anything else. There are 100+ countries, but I can only count a couple. This is in stark contrast to all other religions.
