Mike Kohan retail investment group
Hi Krystal and Saagar, Have you ever heard of Mike Kohan/ Mehran Koansieh? Please research him and his business. He took over the mall I work at in Marquette, Mi. in February 2019. Since then many months the mall had received notices that power would be turned off. Most of the time it was a close call, but there were 2 times last year when the power was pulled. The week heading into Easter Sunday we received another notice(they always come the last Tuesday of each month and it is Wednesdays when the power might be turned off which can happen for lack of payments. Our mall in Marquette, has been without power Wednesday- Friday. He was supposed to have paid March 27th but apparently he paid with insufficient funds. He again was supposed to have paid today, Friday March 29th but at this point I have not heard anything positive. I manage one of the stores in the mall. Marquette is a wonderful town surrounded by rural areas, and this is a go to location for many in the UP. It's been a touch economy as well and his practices hurt. I guess I would hope that someone there can research this guy. He has been doing the same with many of his malls. Somehow he has gotten away with this. Thank you so much! Please read me anonymously. Hey Krystal and Saagar. Been a big fan since yall Rising days. Thanks for bringing News back to being respectful and worth my time. I am a 90’s baby and am tired of corporate in a retail job. What can I do to form a union and rage against the machine. I’ve been set up for failure since Covid times and am beyond tired of the system. I want to fix what’s broken. If y’all want to hear from a 90’s baby who lived thru 2008, I’d love to hear from yall. American’s Impact on Gaza War
First, huge fan of all 4 of you and appreciate so much everything you are doing to provide independent news. I wanted to write to you because I am crippled to my core about the out right genocidal assault Israel is carrying out on Gaza and feel hopeless that I do not have the power to change anything. What are your thoughts on how to start a legitimate movement in America? Some of my thoughts include every one in the United States refusing to work for one day basically shutting down the country (obviously except for health care/life care jobs) to get the government’s attention, I heard how some people in the UK are not paying taxes and putting the money that would go to taxes in a fund, potentially we could figure out a way to strike against paying taxes that are funding this war. I know I don’t have much of a platform but I just cannot do nothing, would love to hear your thoughts on how our country can come together and show our government we are not with them and feel their actions are disgusting and evil. Again, I really appreciate you guys and thank you again for everything that you do.
Sam Bankman Sentencing- Disclosure of Donations
SBF goes to jail, but then what? What rules govern the money he donated to politicians D's or R's and the ethics of those politicians retaining those donations? Is there any code of conduct (doubt it) that says if a convicted criminal donates money to your campaign and that money is in theory stolen (and associated with the conviction) do you have to return it? Even if you don't by law how would citizens put pressure on those politicians to do so? I see there could be issues... "whos money is whos" or "return it where" but is there anything or any precedent? It seems there were a lot of beneficiaries of this money that now in some part is accepted as stolen. Love the show and have been a happy subscriber since 2020. One of the best parts of the show at that time IMO was the show notes. I often take the ideas from the show and have discussions with friends, but those conversations would be even more productive if I had the references you 4 use readily available.
