Non-compete Ban - update?

What is the latest news on the non-compete ban by the FTC? Unfortunately, it’s been difficult to find any information online and would have been such a great move forward for workers. Do either of you have connections that know more on the subject? Thanks!

Biden Crime Family/Trump Corruption Question

I'm seeking clarity on why there's a disproportionate focus on Donald Trump, who faces extensive legal scrutiny, while allegations against Joe Biden, especially those linked to his son Hunter Biden's corruption, receive scant attention and action. This discrepancy puzzles me, given the evidence, including a witness's testimony and materials from Hunter's devices, suggesting Joe Biden's involvement (yet, this issue seems surprisingly underreported and lacks vigorous investigation). Conversely, Trump is embroiled in a lawsuit demanding a massive financial settlement in a case with unclear victimhood or fraud, an aspect that curiously fails to ignite public interest or concern (which I find perplexing, given the scale of the accusations). Despite my political awareness and a desire for the law to be applied impartially, I am frustrated by the enduring nature of accusations such as Russian collusion, a Ukrainian phone call, and alleged election interference against Trump. These accusations continue unabated without clear consequences for those propagating what appear to be baseless narratives (a situation that seems to me a clear miscarriage of justice). As a conservative, minority, and licensed minister, I am conflicted. My values crave better integrity and character in the representatives of the Republican ticket. Despite my aversion to the two-party system—a system I view as fundamentally flawed and an affront to the Constitution and the American populace—I find myself in a position where not choosing Biden seems the only viable option (a decision that, while necessary, does not sit well with me). I am left questioning why Trump is subjected to such aggressive attacks and legal challenges when there seems to be compelling evidence pointing to Biden's corruption, cognitive decline, and overall incompetence. It's bewildering to see Biden's public missteps, such as tripping on stairs, met with silence or dismissal from the public and media alike (a leniency I find both ironic and indicative of a broader issue of bias). Help me out here. Cordially, A newly annually subscribed supporter, Chris P.S. You two are today's most articulate and best-looking duo in the news game. Keep it up.

Seems like you might have left out some details about the IVF alabama story

But to be fair it seems almost everyone did. Was wondering if you'd be willing to discuss it again regarding these details. Analysis from the brilliant Bryan Caplan: https://www.betonit.ai/p/ivf-the-right-policy-won-for-the?utm_campaign=email-half-post&r=7erj1&utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

Friday Counterpoints?

Ryan and Emily have really started to fuse well, and I really enjoy listening to them as the alternative personalities to BP. They mentioned the idea of doing a Friday show and pitching it to you two. I am excited for that concept, please greenlight that!
