Loss of American influence abroad due to attempts to export domestic culture wars
Hi guys. Now that the medical institutions of Sweden, Norway, France, the UK, Denmark, and Finland have all decided to restrict hormones, puberty blockers, and surgeries for minors for lack of evidence of efficacy, and given that the majority of the rest of the world is decidedly NOT on board with the trans movement/gender ideology, how do you think the continued endorsement of a gender-centric worldview by the US gov affects America's scientific, medical, and moral/cultural standing in Europe and the global South? I'm sure you're probably sick of gender-affirming care stuff (sorry), but I think the effect on US soft power is considerable.
Is Biden playing 3D Chess with Ukraine?
I'd love to get your opinions on the likelihood of the idea that Biden is bluffing with the F16s. The idea is the Ukrainians will look to negotiate for peace after the Spring Offensive, and the strongest possible position for them to be in when they sit down at the table is a Ukraine that is striking within Russia, the West not being concerned with it, F16s on the way, and a magical accounting error that allows for unlimited support from the Biden Administration without Congressional approval. Putin will be motivated to end the war before Zelenskyy gets his hands on the F16s, and Biden is also counting on the war being over before Zelenskyy can actually use them.
