Scooter Question for Emily, Drinking Question for Saagar

Is Emily open to answering questions? On this week's Counterpoints, Ryan mentioned that she rides a scooter. What kind of scooter does she ride? Just one of those you stand on and can find on the streets of every major city or something cool, more like a motorcycle? Saagar - you have mentioned several times that you stopped drinking alcohol. Do you have any advice for attending social events where others are drinking but you manage to refrain from drinking yourself? I have found this to be a challenge, and sometimes it's easier to avoid the events altogether.

Why is Trump's Indictment not "Law and Order"?

When talking about Trump's indictment you both appear to be against it for various reasons (might help Trump, not the worse thing he's done, looks political, etc.). However, I would like to ask if the both of you agree that: 1) The political system is filled with too much high and low level corruption. 2) That the law should apply equally to the powerful as well as the powerless. This is a country that infamously can indict a ham sandwich, normal people get indicted and punished for lesser crimes all the time. If we want to be a country of Law and Order that is fairly applied to everyone, then why should DA Bragg be concerned about anything aside from whether or not Trump broke the law? When has the law been concerned if prosecution makes you a martyr or that it's not the worse crime you've committed or that they're behaving politically (prosecutions are inherently political)? Why is Trump's Indictment not "Law and Order"? It's also important to note that the indictment isn't public yet. Sorry for the super long question love you guys and the show.

playing a political prosecution?

You guys talk about it being a poor choice to go forth with this hush money indictment before the other, more consequential cases against Trump. But is there really that kind of coordination between the judges/prosecutors of the various lawsuits? In other words, if they really wanted to plan a more strategic rollout of perfectly timed charges against Trump, could they? If it's a political prosecution, who is coordinating it?

What does it mean for US that China, Russia, and Brazil moving away from USD?

Feel like I have seen people act like this is some of the biggest news in history and really bad for us - is that true?

Trump Indictment Strategy Possibility?

This might be wishful thinking from someone who is been beyond ready to move on from Trump, but is it possible the strategy behind these indictments is to escalate and compound on one another throughout the upcoming months and during his presidential campaign? Like this lukewarm hush money case was intentionally first, so that each additional indictment is more serious and potentially overlapping with the previous. Before you know it, just the sheer number and severity of formal charges in process against this man becomes exhausting and either leads to convictions or Republicans moving on? This is my first question after watching you for almost 2 years now, and I absolutely love and am proud to support your content!
