Ask your politicians
Hi, like the show. I think you should ask your politicians why they are selling arms to promote companies like raytheon now that the Afghanistan war is over and they need income to spend on dividends and stock buybacks. You’re military aid to Ukraine is a domestic decision. First reporting that Ukraine says that the US signed off on Crimean strikes (no denial from U.S., did you check?) and then ten minutes later going off on how the US has no influence on the the war. Just really can’t connect the dots..
Europe and arms ro Ukraine
Just another thought. A negotiated peace is impossible with mass influx of US weapons, maybe the Europeans are right? Enough weapons to hold the Russians at bay. And as you reported about the lack of being able to trace weapons, Europe has fresh memories of the Balkan war, those weapons are still casusing chaos. You need to follow up your reporting more and not just stay in the moment.
Prison Labor
Hi Krystal and Saagar, I’m a day one subscriber and I’m very grateful for the work you both do. Recently, my employer contracted laborers from the local county prison to complete a project requiring hard manual labor. I have been grappling with the ethics of this situation. The workers are virtually unpaid. From what I’ve read, opinions on this subject range from, “Prisoners are criminals who owe society their labor” to “Prison labor is modernized slavery”. Where do either of you stand on this issue, and what advice would you have for me on how to approach this situation? Thank you and keep up the great work!
JD Vance Bias
You guys hammer Dr. Oz and Hershel Walker, but you seem to ignore the HUGE problems with the Vance campaign. Let me remind you... 1. Weird stances on masturbation; believes it should be outlawed. 2. Believes women in abusive relationships should stay in them. 3. Extreme anti-abortion stance. Remember the ten-year-old girl from Ohio? 4. Started a fake opioid nonprofit that only paid his friends and never helped anyone. 5. He Moved to San Francisco and worked in a shady Peter Thiel investment group. Why didn't he come back to Ohio? He is a carpetbagger, the same as Oz. 6. he said in an interview, "Industrial jobs aren't coming back to Ohio." Over and over again, you say he will pull it off, but why aren't you talking about why he is down in the polls? Vance is a trainwreck. I'm starting to think you are not because Saager is his friend, and frankly, it's pissing me off. Quit bringing it up if you are not going to discuss it honestly. Thanks, Rob
