Lesser Known Invasions

How do the lesser known invasions of Grenada and Panama relate to the invasion of Iraq? Were they stepping stones for the US using its military forces to enact changes in foreign countries our leaders thought were right ?

Why no real coverage of Irvo Otieno?

I see some coverage, but why does it feel like this is not getting the attention it deserves? Mentally ill man goes to hospital, ends up arrested, then strangled to death by officers and hospital staff, then you see them drag his likely dead body like it is nothing. It needs more attention as it wreaks of systemic oppression and this is not the first death. Can you devote some attention to this one?!? I need to know what is REALLY going on here. It seems like my posts about this subject are getting filtered by Facebook. None of my friends see my posts about it. I don't get it.

Restrict act

There have been many recent, misleading takes on Twitter about the Restrict Act (bipartisan legislation) that was just introduced. Could y’all give your takes on it ?

Crisis for young men

This question is for Saager, After listening to you on Flagrant, you brought up some interesting data about how men ('20s + 30s) are losing interest in society. While Shultz brought up points about the outreach women have on social media which increases competition, my hypothesis as a driver to this issue is the increase and widespread use of pornography and its impact on males today. in the limited research I've seen, I think there is the lack of motivation, specifically in courting a partner, driven by the "quick fix" of pornography, which may also contribute to how the brain operates. Would love for you to review this topic in a segment, and I think while this issue can be an embarrassing topic, it should be addressed! Hoping to stay anonymous for this if ever brought up on the show :)

Rational gun policy changes

I am not a gun owner but do support people being able to own firearms for hunting/sport, and I understand the argument for home/personal defense. There seems to be some significant holes in gun policy that could be effective in moving the needle without actually banning any firearms. What do you think about the following ideas? 1. The vast majority of gun locks/safes are terrible and ineffective at stopping low skill attacks to bypass. (LockPickingLawyer on YouTube has covered many for reference) so what if there was tighter legislation forcing manufactures to have products that actually can stop unauthorized users from accessing properly stored weapons. 2. As a second bit, if you have enough money to buy a gun (most are reasonably expensive), you should have enough money to buy something to safely store it so that only yourself or another authorized person has access 3. Require anyone who purchases a firearm to have taken basic safety instruction as there's lots of stories of people who are ignorant causing themselves or others accidental harm (could be punted to orgs like the NRA so as to keep it from being a "government registration")
