MPP and Immigration under Biden
Hi Krystal and Saagar! A while back I was pretty shocked at Saagar’s position in favor of MPP and stricter border security. As someone who works in the immigration non-profit world in Texas, I’ve seen first hand the extreme human suffering as a result of this program and other Biden immigration policies. Asylum is effectively dead. We say immigration Court is like a death penalty case in traffic court and it’s adjudications are unbelievably arbitrary. This very complex system deserves more frequent analysis and attention and parallels well with discussions of the workers movement. Please consider having an immigration expert on occasionally to round out the breaking points ecosystem on the current state of Title 42, the new Asylum Processing Rule, metering at ports of entry, CIVIL detention conditions for non criminal asylum-seekers, family detention, etc. Thanks! Chinese subversion of Canadian democracy.
Canada's national intelligence agency has leaked that China has been making overt attempts to influence Canadian elections, for example by making donations to political parties, candidates, and non-profits connected to political leaders ($200 000 donated to the Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation!), or by mobilizing Chinese international students to volunteer for election campaigns. Curious to know if this is making it into the news in America, and how this might influence your perspective on the controversy around TIKTOK. Why do you continue to support and give employment to a billionaire/the squads fluff reporter? He literally goes against what breaking points promised to be. Please respond, you should check out your yourtube comments on this matter. Breaking points is loosing a ton of credibility over this.
